New Student Opening for Spring or Fall 2011
I may have an opening for one-two Ph.D. students starting either in Spring 2011 or in Fall 2011. My group's work is in signal and image processing. In particular a lot of the current work focusses on recursive sparse reconstruction and compressive sensing. I am looking for a student with a Bachelors' or a Masters' degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or in Applied Math.

In particular I need a student with strong basics in signals and systems, linear algebra and probability. Other desirable skills include (a) the ability to think independently, and (b) the interest and ability to work hard.
