Title: Impacts of FERC Order 2222 on Transmission Studies and Processes
Abstract: FERC Order 2222 has created a new landscape of Distributed Energy Resource (DER) aggregation. While the majority of the impacts of the order will be faced by distribution utilities, transmission owners will also be impacted. This talk will detail those impacts.
Bio: Dr. Mohit Singh is a Principal Engineer in the Transmission Strategy group at Exelon Corp in Chicago, IL. His main area of expertise is integration of inverter-based resources (IBRs). Prior to his current role, he worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, CO. He received his Masters and PhD from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 and 2011 respectively.
