Aditya presented invited seminars at the IEEE Information Theory Workshop, 2021 in Kanazawa, Japan and at the AMS Sectional Meeting in Omaha, NE. The talk was titled – “A Unified Treatment of partial stragglers and sparse matrices in coded matrix computation”.

New NSF Computing and Communications Foundations award
Prof. Namrata Vaswani (Prinicipal Investigator(PI)) and Aditya Ramamoorthy (co-PI) were recently awarded NSF grant: CIF: Small: Secure and Fast Federated Low-Rank Recovery from Few Column-wise Linear, or Quadratic Projections. The details of the award can be found at the link below.

A tutorial paper on straggler mitigation for distributed matrix computations by Aditya, Anindya and Li has appeared in the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine, special issue on Distributed, Streaming Learning. It is titled: Straggler-Resistant Distributed Matrix Computation via Coding Theory: Removing a bottleneck in large-scale data processing.
