Professor Aziz A. Fouad was a faculty member within the Electrical and Computer Engineering beginning in 1960 and retiring in 1996 as a distinguished professor and as interim department chair. He was elected a member of the National Academy of Engineers as a result of his work in the field of electric power system dynamics and control.
An event is being held in his honor, on Monday July 7, 2014, from 4-5:30pm in the Memorial Union, followed by a reception and dinner. The program will be held in the Campanile room and the dinner/reception in the South Ballroom. Professor Fouad and his family will be in attendance.
