We are looking for motivated junior, senior, or MS students (current Iowa State students) interested in simulation-based research using platforms like Qiskit, NetSquid, or similar tools. Our focus lies in modeling next-generation quantum driven Tactile Internet, such as protocols design, entanglement distribution, and network architectures optimization.
What You’ll Do
- Work on a well-defined simulation problem related to quantum enabled performance enhancement.
- Use industry-standard quantum simulation platforms (e.g., Qiskit, QuNetSim, NetSquid)
- Collaborate on publishable research and receive co-authorship on any resulting publications
- Explore opportunities for Research/Teaching Assistantships (RA/TA) after initial evaluation
